Nomsa Burkhardt is an acclaimed Zulu dancer, singer, and percussionist whose work bridges tradition and contemporary expression. Born in Soweto and raised in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, she brings deep cultural knowledge and dynamic artistry shaped by decades of international performance, teaching, and collaboration. Now based in San Diego, Burkhardt shares vibrant Zulu music and dance traditions as part of the SDSU World Music Concert Series.
