Ingalill Ellung, who is an experienced puppet theater director, contacted Stina Wirsén with the desire to work on a play together. "It was an immediate love affair when I first saw Stina's pictures. Here were characters who were close to puppet theater and who were just waiting to take their place on stage. And we let them meet in a story about friendship and longing."

Stina Wirsén is an acclaimed illustrator, author and artist frequently hired in various contexts. She has written directly for the stage before, also with puppets, and emphasizes that each project is unique. "Working closely with Ingalill and also with puppeteer Lisa Kjellgren Almstig and together shaping the story, set design and characters gradually is so exciting. I am so happy about the collaboration with the Tittut Puppet Theater!"
