The marriage between Hildegard and Jörgen has probably been strained even before the strip club came to the village. But now! No one is left untouched by this incredible addition to the entertainment scene, who is for it and who is against it? As if that weren't enough, Näcken herself is roaming the edge of the forest.

The frustrated Hildegard, played by Anna Blomberg, has her life turned upside down. When she and the dancer Jessica chase the mysterious Näcken, not only does an unexpected friendship arise. She also realizes that the secret she has been carrying will soon be exposed.

In the middle of a small town, everyday life, dreams and longing meet. In Hildegard and Jörgen's combined living room and foot care salon, life goes on in all its quiet confusion, while the new entertainment establishment lures with glamour and promises of something more. And out in the forest, Näcken keeps vigil between nightmare and daydream, between allure and danger.

They are among us, but few have heard their stories. In The Veterans we meet the Swedish soldiers who served in the war in Afghanistan.
 
It is about being able to trust each other, about volunteering and working hard. It is about the will to make a difference and about moments you never forget. But also about what we are prepared to do to be part of the group, and how we must live with our decisions – and about dealing with the great challenge afterwards – of becoming a “civilian” among others.

In his absence, the ensemble begins to stage what they remember of the story and the choreographies and forgotten numbers that were deleted long ago. In this free interpretation of The Merchant of Venice , Riksteatern Crea places the action on the island of Martha's Vineyard in the USA, a hundred years in the future. By this time, the digital world has collapsed and an alternative society has emerged on the island. A group of deaf idealists have settled there and built a community based on solidarity and self-sufficiency. But it is not long before power games and greed challenge the idyll.
The merchant Antonio lends money to his careless friend Bassanio to help him charm the delightful Portia. But the money actually comes from the hearing loan shark Sjölund. When Antonio cannot pay back on time, a dramatic trial begins, where lives and justice are at stake.

Uncle Erik is a touching musical drama based on Erik Nilsson's short but eventful life. It is the 1940s and in a hospital, a seriously ill and lonely boy dreams of making a difference, even though no one sees how he could manage anything at all. He will eventually lay the foundation for one of the country's largest aid organizations, but behind the success was a son, a husband and a father who dedicated his life to helping others when he could barely take care of himself. Everyone knows about Erikshjälpen, but who was Erik really?

The performance opens a tear in time, when Karin was alive. What happened? The audience is guided through the 20th century and a life that was followed for several decades by the silence of shame. Karin's written letters and most famous poems are portrayed with warmth, humor and seriousness.
The performance forms a cry out into our time from what she experienced then, now as relevant as then. Mental fragility in combination with the prevailing homophobia that existed then, makes our time visible. The music is sensitively composed based on knowledge of her life and is played by experienced musicians with the setting of cello, piano, guitar and voice. The performance brings a cultural treasure to life and the target audience is adults.

Two cat eyes suddenly shine in the dark - and nothing is ever the same again. Minou and her father have accidentally hit a cat with his fast motorbike. Minou, 8 years old, begs and pleads - and the cat is allowed to come home with them! Even though dad hates cats, especially this one.

The house is now filled with cat situations, cat-related issues and the occasional kitty-cat misunderstanding. The cat is magical, very special. And it seems to be there to support them. That's good, because even though Minou and dad want to get along so badly, they can't reach each other.

Now that the cat is there, Minou is overjoyed. They become best friends. But dad gets jealous. What does that mangy cat have that he doesn't? A power struggle of epic proportions begins. Will it end in a cat apostrophe? Or is it that everyone saves everyone?

But what is really going on with this witch? Who is she? Who has singled her out as a witch? Are there witches?

One late evening at the small library, the librarian tells a completely different tale about Hansel and Gretel. Now it is the “witch’s” version that we hear.

The river, with its millennia-long cycle from mountains to coast, has been a crucial prerequisite for animals and humans to survive and develop here. In our imagination, it becomes an image of life that constantly begins anew.
Using history and more or less true anecdotes, Curt Persson tells about the people who traveled along the river and those who settled there. There are stories from the time when the farms turned their faces towards the river and also stories about love. The river of life speaks many languages. Do we understand everything? Even the music has been shaped by the river and the voices of the people. The traditional songs and poems from the county's river valleys, where love, longing, betrayal, sorrow and joy are obvious elements of the performance. Songs about mining work, rally songs but also newly written songs, create a web of both oral and musical stories.
