Some names are well-known today, but many are unimaginably forgotten.

This is the exciting story of the time and people around Sweden's first female civic school whose ideas are still revolutionary today. Fogelstad started in 1925 - between two world wars and four years after women's suffrage was introduced. We have them to thank for much of what we take for granted today.

The women in the management, all pioneers in their professional fields, were completely different from each other and it was far from conflict-free. But they had a common goal - that women from all social classes would have the opportunity to get an education.
