What happens when we stop reading? And what happens to us if we stop telling stories? In Profilteatern's new play for high school, we meet two people with high ideals on the edge of a new world that no longer seems to have room for either reading, imagination or creativity.
The two librarians Tobbe and Milla receive shocking news: all books that are not lent out often enough will be burned. Classic masterpieces that once changed lives are now seen as worthless shelf warmers. When they also realize that the library is threatened by cuts, they are faced with a difficult choice - should they quietly accept the loss, or fight back?
