A theater performance based on Selma Lagerlöf

The storytelling performance Beggars & Lordship is based on stories from Selma Lagerlöf's rich treasure chest, where the Lövdala manor is at the center. It is done with the classic characteristics of Västanås where words, dance and music are in the spotlight. Lövdala is owned by the violinist Liljecrona. He is a fragile artist and carries within him all the possibilities of genius but finds himself on a constant flight throughout his life. Away from duty and responsibility, but perhaps most of all from himself and the weight of the dark and difficult sides of artistry. Target audience from 15 years
