What does a performance at the Metropolitan Opera look like from the orchestra pit? Early in his career, Elias Faingersh worked as a second trombonist at the world-famous opera house in New York. Now he talks about his experiences in a personal, moving, humorous musical stand-up show.
Elias Faingersh - musician, composer and entertainer - does a musical stand up show about his years in New York where he studied at the Manhattan School of Music and had the opportunity to play in the famous Metropolitan Opera Orchestra.

There and then he made the decision to leave New York and the safe existence of an orchestral musician for the uncertain but so much more rewarding solo career. In the beautiful, moving and very humorous performance he plays famous opera arias and his own compositions, and with the help of live electronics the music sounds as if it is played by a whole orchestra.
