Join alumni and friends for an unforgettable evening at Carnegie Hall, featuring Peabody faculty member and Carnegie Hall Perspectives artist Marin Alsop leading The Philadelphia Orchestra in this major highlight of the United in Sound: America at 250 festival. Maestro Alsop will be joined by the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis. The program includes the premiere of Wynton Marsalis’s Symphony No. 5, “Liberty,” as well as Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7. Your ticket includes a pre-concert reception with food and drink at Quality Italian Restaurant (57 W. 57th Street) from 5 to 7 p.m. before the show at 8 p.m.
