New York’s “hometown band,” performs Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 18. The piece features wonderful interplay between orchestra and pianist—who, in this case, is the world-renowned Emanuel Ax. Also featured on the program is Schubert’s monumental Symphony No. 9.
