The BMSO pays tribute to the 25th Anniversary of September 11, 2001, and celebrates the 250th Birthday of America with the North Dakota Premiere of Can(N)ons of Freedom by Chris Brubeck, and the powerful Mozart Requiem with the Bismarck Mandan Civic Chorus and soloists Korliss Uecker, Tammy Hensrud, Emerson Eads and Jason Thoms.

Voices United features concertmaster Maureen Murchie and UND professors Nariaki Sugiura and Simona Barbu in Beethoven's Triple Concerto for violin, piano and cello, and the BMSO will shine in Brahms' Symphony No. 1

Acclaimed Elvis impersonator Anthony Shore and band will join the BMSO to ring in the holidays with the King of Rock and Roll, plus all the beloved holiday favorites.

An Elvis Christmas

The amazing violinist Mitchelle Newman returns to Bismarck to perform epic violin solos from cinema classics.  Expect to hear Schindler's List, Fiddler on the Roof and more.

Heroes and Legends

Internationally celebrated organist and pedagogue Joel Bacon makes his BMSO debut with a concerto of J.S. Bach. This concert of familiar, well-loved classics will also feature Mozart's Symphony No. 40. To be followed by a February 7th organ recital by Dr. Bacon at the University of Mary.

Past Meets Present

Cello virtuoso Hannah Holman returns to Bismack for the ND premiere of Ballet for Cello and Orchestra by Rebecca Burkhardt, and the orchestra will round out the program with favorites by Aaron Copland including Fanfare for the Common Man, Appalachian Spring Ballet Suite, and Lincoln Portrait to be narrated by Martin Sheen.
