Hear world-famous actor John Malkovich recite from Ernesto Sabato's classic novel On Heroes and Tombs. Along with a piano concerto by Russian composer Alfred Schnittke with Anastasya Terenkova as soloist! In addition, Vivaldi's The Four Seasons will be performed by The Funäs Chamber Soloists with a recitation of prose by Johan Rabaeus before the intermission.

Join us for a classic ballet tale of passion, jealousy and adventure. Le Corsaire is a full-length ballet in which the Royal Swedish Ballet delivers large ensemble numbers and intimate duets between the pirate Conrad and his beloved Medora.

I've always found it both fun and challenging to do something more than just a straight-up, regular concert when I get the chance to face an audience. Over the years, I've wrestled with glitchy slide projectors, had heated dialogues with myself in the form of a life-size cardboard doll, rode in a triumphal chariot in gladiator armor, and I've even toured with a real therapist who had therapy with me on stage between songs.

In 2023, the book OM Niklas Strömstedt was published , which is an autobiographical journey through both his private life and his more public career, and while working on that book, the idea was born to also let it become the basis for a stage performance.
