This concert is all about movement. Megan Grey, contralto, brings fire to de Falla’s El Amor Brujo, inspired by Spanish flamenco. Higdon’s Dance Card is playful and rhythmic, and Copland’s Appalachian Spring, written for dancer Martha Graham, captures the joy and spirit of the American frontier. It’s music that makes you want to tap your feet or just sit back and feel the energy
