Alonzo King Lines Ballet

Now in its 42nd year, internationally acclaimed contemporary ballet company—Alonzo King LINES Ballet—will present exquisite moments from repertoire spanning 24 years on Sunday, October 15. The organization’s home Fall Season 2023 performance in San Francisco, October 12–15, will highlight repertoire that showcases the range of King’s works that embody all that LINES represents, from the contemplative and heart-wrenching to joyful and cathartic. Featured in the program are elegant passages from King’s Suite Etta (1997), Following the Subtle Current Upstream (2000), Dust and Light (2009), Writing Ground (2010), Resin (2013), and Child of Sky and Earth (2021), a solo originally choreographed for NYC Ballet principal dancer Tiler Peck.
