A spirit of music and sharing is on display as the SLS welcomes a new collaboration with the Salt Lake Symphonic Choir for a performance of Poulenc’s Gloria. Opening the program is a recent work, Kauyumari, by award-winning composer Gabriela Ortiz. The title means “blue deer” in Huichol language, and refers to a spiritual guide that is encountered during a vision quest.
