Nick Tomalin’s Shades of Shearing band celebrates the musical legacy of iconic British-born jazz pianist George Shearing. The group features the classic quintet line-up, and for this performance will be joined by singer Lily Dior to perform selections from the much-loved Beauty and the Beat album recorded with Peggy Lee, and The Swinging’s Mutual album with Nancy Wilson. The band also features internationally acclaimed vibraphonist Nat Steele.
