Countertenor and breakdancer: Jakub Józef Orliński is at home in very different worlds. Together with mezzo-soprano Madison Nonoa and the ensemble Il pomo d’oro, he presents a programme ranging from the early Baroque to the present day. The works share a contemplative, often melancholic mood, culminating in Giovanni Battista Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater, with its hauntingly beautiful vocal lines.
