All of Jane Austen’s beloved heroines, friends, and love interests—and her sharp social satire—take center stage in this fast paced, laugh out loud romp. When a cast member disappears, the remaining two must teach an understudy… on the fly. It’s clever. It’s chaotic. It’s Austen like you’ve never seen her before. Produced in partnership with Cincinnati Shakespeare Company.

The Complete Works of Jane Austen, Abridged

This Tony Award-winning hit is packed with a cast of unforgettable characters navigating adolescence one word at a time. It’s awkward. It’s honest. It’s absolutely hilarious—and it might just steal your heart. An eclectic group of six mid-pubescents vie for the spelling championship of a lifetime. While candidly disclosing hilarious and touching stories from their home lives, the tweens spell their way through a series of (potentially made-up) words, hoping never to hear the soul-crushing, pout-inducing, life un-affirming “ding” of the bell that signals a spelling mistake. Six spellers enter; one speller leaves a champion! At least the losers get a juice box.

From Lowell, Massachusetts, Paul Tsongas brought small-town grit and a hometown sensibility to the national stage in 1992 as an unlikely contender for the Democratic Presidential nomination. Running on a platform of fiscal responsibility and fresh ideas, he challenged better-known candidates in a crowded field. Although he captured hearts in the New Hampshire Primary and won a surprising victory there, he was never the front-runner. This inspiring story follows Tsongas on his improbable journey and proves that even a long shot can leave a lasting mark on history.
