More details
Deeply touched by the tragic love story between the Muslim girl Admira and the young Serbian Boško, known as the "Romeo and Juliet of Sarajevo," director Paolo Valerio evokes in the setting of his play a backdrop of war and conflict, reminiscent of the former Yugoslavia, thus offering a powerful image of the bloody and senseless conflicts between families that bloodied the Verona described by Shakespeare.
