Molière's "The School for Wives" seemed to us the most appropriate starting point for discussing what is perhaps completely lacking in our society today: sentimental education. The text marks a turning point in the work of the great French author, who, while drawing on traditional comedy, approaches a more marked realism that he finds necessary because it draws on the author's own life.
