L'Homme armé, Tears & Alarms

This program centers on the figure of the Homme armé, a valiant warrior who died in battle, and unfolds with Pierre de La Rue's Requiem, enriched by those of Jean Richafort & Antoine Fevin, and followed by a thanksgiving Mass to pay tribute to him. It is a parody Mass built on the various themes of musical battles that were famous in their time.
