The Arsen Petrosyan Trio is a distinguished ensemble in contemporary Armenian folk music, led by duduk master Arsen Petrosyan. Built around the traditional Armenian woodwind instrument the duduk, which serves as the tonal center, the trio creates an atmospheric and deeply emotional musical experience in which ancient melodies meet contemporary arrangements. The trio consists of musicians from Armenia, Turkey and Georgia. Drawing inspiration from Armenia's rich cultural heritage, the musicians perform folk, classical and sacred works with great musical presence and virtuosity. Their music is characterized by a warm sound, poetic mysticism and a strong expression of the Armenian folk soul.
