With her crystal-clear voice, Iris Bergcrantz has taken audiences and critics by storm in Sweden and Denmark in recent years. Following concerts at, among others, Allsång på Skansen, TV4 Nyhetsmorgon and tours across Sweden and Denmark, she is now presenting her latest album, Vi fanns förut, which consists of original music. The central theme of the lyrics is the transition from one phase of life to another, and the difficulty of letting go of the person one has been to make room for the person one is becoming. The focus lies on identity, relationships and love. The music is rooted in experimental pop, Swedish folk music and classical impressionism, framed by jazz.
