Jazz i Halmstad

The Swedish jazz singer Sara Aldén has broken through like a comet on the Swedish jazz scene. With her acclaimed debut album There Is No Future, she won a Grammis in 2025 in the Jazz of the Year category and was also named Vocal Jazz of the Year by Lira Musikmagasin. Jazz on life and death! Sara Aldén paints music through original compositions and arranged jazz standards, with a focus on grand crescendos and vulnerable intimacy.

Varbergs Teater

Singer Dina Grundberg (born 1999) has her roots in Ljungskile in Bohuslän and began working as a freelance musician at an early age. At the age of eighteen she booked her first tour. That same year, 2017, she was soloist with Brewhouse Big Band when they won the Swedish Championship for youth big bands. Since then she has toured extensively and sung on a long list of stages, including Sveriges Radio and, among others, Stockholm Jazz Festival, Ystad Jazz Festival and GMLSTN Jazz Festival. She has also sung side by side with the artist Ebbot Lundberg at Stora Teatern in Gothenburg.

Dina Grundberg Sextet

Ticking and pulsing, the Malmö group We Float takes the listener on a journey through its distinctive musical universe. Here progressive pop blends with jazz, rock and chamber music. To add another dimension, they are joined by the Vindla String Quartet.
