Carsten Kær SOLO is music from a very personal universe, full of beautiful, narrative, at times somewhat quirky compositions. Presents sample pieces from the new project "percussive piano," in which drumming patterns from ethnic music are woven into ostinatos, and the piano functions both as a drum ensemble and as a melodic weaver within an improvisational universe. Original compositions and improvisations as well as standards.
