The Oakland-based artist Maria BC (they/them) has gradually opened up about their working process over the years, moving from a one-room recording process on the 2021 EP 'Devil's Rain', where they were careful not to disturb their roommates or neighbors, to the unprocessed apartment walks on 'Hyaline' (2022, Father/Daughter), and on to a family friend's home, where an untuned baby Steinway piano stood and where they recorded the album 'Spike Field'. In 2026 Maria BC returns with their third studio album, 'Marathon'. Support: Velvy.

Pharaoh Overlord is a Finnish duo made up of Jussi Lehtisalo and Tomi Leppänen, who are also members of the legendary experimental rock band Circle. In 2025, Pharaoh Overlord celebrated their 25th anniversary. Over the years, the duo has gradually evolved from the hypnotic, slow stoner rock of their early years to the electronic avant-garde synth experiments the group is known for today. Following the critically acclaimed, minimalist and meditative masterpiece 'Louhi' (2025), Pharaoh Overlord is currently working with vocalist Aaron Turner on the follow-up to '6', their unexpected Italo disco/metal hit.
