Alondra de la Parra

Bruckner Orchester Linz

This constellation has become a tradition at AK Classics: a congenial guest on the conductor's podium with a soloist from the BOL. To kick off our long-standing series in cooperation with AK, we once again have a simultaneous guest and home performance: with the Kapellmeisterin of the Deutsche Oper Berlin conducting and our flautist Andrea Dusleag. She has chosen Jacques Ibert's flute concerto, often performed despite, or perhaps because of, its technical challenges. It will be framed by Lili Boulanger's French sound impressionism and Rimsky-Korsakov's oriental-tinged Scheherazade – two pieces that offer the BOL ample opportunity to showcase its full range of abilities in different ways.

Ak Classics #1

Brucknerhaus Linz

Music fairy Fermata receives an invitation to the countryside! There she encounters lively polkas, dancing waltzes, and discovers how folk music tells stories of celebration, community, and movement. Together with the children, she listens to musical depictions of nature: a sunrise in the mountains and an approaching thunderstorm. A concert full of imagination, sound, and rural adventures.

The Bruckner Orchestra Linz's new rehearsal visit for adults is the perfect way to spend your evenings in a different way! We invite everyone interested to attend our evening rehearsals and get a special glimpse behind the scenes. Our free rehearsal visits not only offer the opportunity to listen to the orchestra at work, but also include an interactive workshop.

The season is packed with highlights: an opera rehearsal of Richard Wagner's Lohengrin with Christof Koncz, Markus Poschner with Béla Bartók's Concerto for Orchestra, soloists Midori and Gautier Capuçon, and the world-renowned conductor Alondra de la Parra. A truly unique experience – music up close, unvarnished, and in motion.

18+ Ohrweiten Nach Dem Arbeiten

The "taster rehearsals" offered by Markus Poschner and the BOL are a combination of interpretative insights, programmatic introductions, and a friendly invitation to connect: At the end of each of the final rehearsals for the major concerts at the Brucknerhaus, the doors open to anyone who wants to get to know the orchestra informally in its daily work and be introduced to the concert program in an entertaining way. In the 2026/27 season, guest conductors will also be giving these "taster rehearsals" for the first time.
