Tchaikovsky’s Pathétique
More details
Music of power. And of passion. Music Director Valentina Peleggi conducts Tchaikovsky’s final work – the “Pathétique” Symphony. PLUS, “Don Juan,” a showpiece for orchestra by Richard Strauss. And Paul Neubauer plays the bracing Viola Concerto of Béla Bartók. “One of America’s finest concert artists,” declares the Atlanta Journal. “A true violist,” raves The New York Times. He “exults in his instrument’s dark, rich, sumptuous tone.”
