Romeo & Juliet
More details
This is one of the most beloved, most passionate Piano Concertos in the entire repertoire. Alexandra Dariescu plays Grieg’s popular Piano Concerto. “Her fingers seem to be floating over the keys,” raved the Houston Chronicle. “She took total command.” Valentina Peleggi conducts Prokofiev’s intoxicating, impassioned Romeo and Juliet, plus Preludio sinfonico by the 18-year-old Giacomo Puccini, music that would wait a century to be discovered!
