The LSU Wind Ensemble opens their season with a collection of works varied in both style and era, centered on Arnold Schoenberg’s cornerstone work Theme and Variations, op. 43a and Warren Benson’s powerful The Passing Bell, plus a solo appearance by Cecilia Kang, Associate Professor of Clarinet, performing Scott McAllister’s Black Dog.
