Our winter afternoon offering opens with emerging American composer Ash Stemke’s breezily fetching local premiere followed by two gorgeous Vivaldi concertos, including the rarely performed double which also spotlights Riverside’s longstanding principal cellist. Argentinian master Alberto Ginastera’s gripping, richly virtuosic masterwork concludes the program.
