The prolific British vocal ensemble VOCES8 champions a sense of care and clarity in their performances that has garnered them global acclaim. In this world premiere of a new work by Stanford alum and two-time Grammy–winning composer Christopher Tin, VOCES8 explores the ecological perils of extinction through elegy. Sweeping and plaintive, The Lost Birds is a haunting memorial to bird species driven to extinction by humankind and a warning about our own tenuous existence on the planet.
