Join us for a truly exhilarating evening with the Clinton Symphony Orchestra as we kick off our 2023-2024 Season on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at 7:30 p.m. at the Vernon Cook Theater, Clinton High School. This special night features the remarkable talents of violinist Marcia Henry Liebenow, who will grace the stage to perform the Bruch Violin Concerto in G minor. Marcia, the Concertmaster of the Peoria Symphony and a distinguished faculty member at Bradley University, promises to deliver a performance that will captivate and inspire.

The evening will be further enriched with two compositions by Ludwig van Beethoven, starting with the overture to his incidental music "The Ruins of Athens," followed by his Eighth Symphony. These pieces, known for their beauty and complexity, will complete a program that promises to be an exhilarating celebration of live music.

In addition to the concert, we invite you to join us for an "Overture to the Season" buffet at 5:30 pm in the Clinton High Commons. This pre-concert event will feature a delightful selection of pasta, chicken, meatballs, salad, bread, dessert, and beverages. Maestro Brian Dollinger will be sharing insights into the musical works selected for this season, making it a perfect start to an unforgettable evening.
