"Relatively Speaking: Family as Refuge" is part of our Refuge concert series, designed to welcome the world through the universal language of music. The concert features an eclectic lineup of performers, including the Fanoos Ensemble, The HawtPlates, Martha Redbone Roots Project, The Villalobos Brothers, and Amal Murkus & Firas Zreik. Each act brings their unique blend of cultural and musical backgrounds to the stage, from Mexican folk and jazz to Kentucky blues and gospel, and from the rich musical heritage of Afghanistan to the modern and authentic sounds of Palestine.

- **Amal Murkus & Firas Zreik:** Renowned Palestinian singer Amal Murkus teams up with composer and Kanun player Firas Zreik, showcasing a wide range of musical genres and influences.
