Orchestra Iowa’s own Miko Kominami performs Liszt’s iconic Piano Concerto No. 2 with its melodic theme, expressive variations, and challenging solo passages. Shostakovich’s masterful Symphony No. 5 closes with a bold, enduring statement of resisting oppression.
