In 2021, after suffering a debilitating stroke that paralyzed his left hand and foot, composer and pianist Haskell Small feared that his career would come to an end. Three years later, he is not only performing again but is embarking on a nationwide tour, culminating in his performance of Beethoven’s Diabelli Variations in Weill Recital Hall
