**Description:**
Hot off its sold-out and award-winning run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, "Tim Murray is WITCHES" is a unique blend of stand-up comedy and original songs, diving deep into the world of pop culture's most beloved witches. Described as a gay Bo Burnham with a twist, Tim Murray, adorned in green and embracing drag, pays homage to LGBTQIA+ individuals and the discovery of one's magic within a supportive community. The show is a vibrant tribute to the queer experience, exploring themes of hiding to fit in and the empowerment found in finding one's "queer family."

Through his performance, Murray celebrates iconic sorceresses from The Craft, Wicked, the Sanderson Sisters, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, to Angelica Houston's Grand High Witch, drawing parallels between their stories and the queer witch hunt. Having graced stages across the U.S., including SF Sketchfest, The Brooklyn Comedy Festival, and DragCon, Tim Murray brings his critically acclaimed act to Joe's Pub. His upcoming sketch comedy TV show, "Wish You Were Queer," produced by Trixie Mattel, is set to debut in 2024.
