Join us for a serene musical experience at the Relaxed Friday Lunchtime Concert presented by LSO Discovery, featuring the London Symphony Orchestra. This special event is set to take place at LSO St Luke's on Friday, 8th November 2024, starting at 12:30 pm and concluding around 1:15 pm.

Designed with inclusivity at its heart, this concert is perfect for individuals who benefit from a more relaxed concert environment, including those with sensory and communication impairments, learning disabilities, or who are neurodiverse. We welcome everyone over the age of 5 who prefers a concert setting that accommodates noise and movement with open arms.

The programme, to be announced, promises an engaging introduction to orchestral instruments and chamber music, with friendly guidance from our presenter, Rachel Leach. Attendees will have the opportunity to deepen their understanding of the music through a Q&A session, and large print programmes will be available for free to enhance the experience.

Admission to this enriching event is free, and while seating is unreserved, we highly recommend arriving early as these events are popular and space is limited. Doors will open at 12 pm. For visitors with access requirements or those attending in a group of 10 or more, we encourage reserving seats to ensure a smooth and enjoyable visit.

The concert will feature an adapted environment to suit our audience's needs, including:
- A relaxed attitude towards noise and movement throughout the performance.
- An adapted BSL interpretation incorporating more visual and gestural elements.
- Accessible digital programme notes available for download in advance or on the day.
- Friendly staff on hand to assist and welcome attendees.
- Open doors to the performance space, allowing for free movement in and out of the venue.
- A separate chill-out space for anyone needing a break.
- The world’s first attended mobile toilet service with a hoist and changing bench, the RevoLOOtion vehicle, for those who require it (please bring your own sling).
