Join us for a momentous celebration at the 40th Anniversary Gala of Harlem Stage, set to take place on Monday, June 3, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at City Winery, located at 25 11th Avenue, New York, NY, 10011. This gala not only commemorates four decades of Harlem Stage's profound impact on the arts but also sets the stage for the next 40 years of commissioning, producing, and presenting the visionary artists of color who stand fearlessly at the crossroads of art and social justice.

This year, we are thrilled to honor our Artistic Director and CEO, Patricia Cruz, for her unwavering dedication to the arts and our community. The inaugural Patricia Cruz Medallion Award will be presented to Jenette Kahn, a long-time Board member, publisher, producer, former head of DC Comics and MAD Magazine, and co-founder of Double Nickel Entertainment. The Philanthropy Award will go to BET/Jeanine Liburd, while the Transformative Artist Award will be bestowed upon dancer, choreographer, and educator Camille A. Brown.

The evening promises to be an unforgettable extravaganza, featuring performances by Hannah Lemmons aka LEMMONS, Michela Marino Lerman, Mireya Ramos, Vernon Reid, and Carl Hancock-Rux. The gala will also serve as a platform to support Harlem Stage's mission through sponsorship, ticket purchases, and donations.
