Solano Symphony Orchestra

Each year, with the generous support of the Margaret Beelard Community Foundation, Maestro Semyon Lohss and the Solano Symphony Orchestra host young orchestral players and instrumental and vocal soloists to perform with the orchestra, including winners of the annual Young Artists Competition.  It's an opportunity to be inspired and impressed by the amazing talent of these dedicated young musicians.  Because of the nature of this portion of the program, the pieces will be selected based on the outcome of this competition - so stay tuned!

Our final concert of the season is always a great celebration of popular music, and the finale of our 39th season is, once again, sure to delight and entertain!  In honor of our country's 250th birthday, we'll be featuring Richard Rogers' Victory at Sea, along with a program packed with our own American Composers!

Annual Pops Concert

In the orchestra’s December program, selections from Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker ballet will fill the hall for the Holiday Celebration performance, which also features the orchestra’s own concertmaster, Max Baluyev, playing Bach’s first Violin Concerto in A minor.
