**Event Overview:**
Join us for an electrifying evening as the Divergent Sounds Series presents BIG POP, a band that shatters boundaries and defies all expectations. Founded in 2021, this powerhouse collective is led by the extraordinary Jeri Sapronetti, a guitar hero and vocalist whose raw talent and captivating stage presence have earned the admiration of peers and fans alike.

**About BIG POP:**
Akron’s Big Pop is a five-piece pop-rock band formed in 2021. Longtime Akron musicians Jeri Sapronetti and Corey Jenkins saw their successful bands fizzle out during the COVID-19 pandemic. Sapronetti’s psych-rock group Time Cat was touring nationally and had the chance to open for Chrissie Hynde and the Pretenders in Akron in 2016. When Time Cat and Jenkins’ group Fancy Legs disbanded, Sapronetti reached out to Jenkins, whom she’s known since 2009, about collaborating on new music. Together, they brought in additional local artists to form the supergroup, Big Pop.

The Auricle, located in the heart of Canton’s thriving arts district, offers a live music experience unlike any other. The venue connects people through community with music and art in every form. **Parking Information:**
Divergent Sounds Series patrons are welcome to park in the Eric Snow YMCA parking lot for concerts, in addition to The Auricle’s parking lot.
