**About the "Where Are We" Album:**
Released in September 2023, "Where Are We" is a groundbreaking project for Redman, marking the first time he has included a vocalist, Gabrielle Cavassa, on a record. The album features Aaron Parks on piano, Joe Sanders on bass, and Brian Blade on drums, with special guests Nicholas Payton (trumpet), Kurt Rosenwinkel (guitar), Peter Bernstein (guitar), and Joel Ross (vibes).

The album explores themes of geographical locations across the United States, with songs referencing cities and states such as Bruce Springsteen’s "Streets of Philadelphia," Count Basie’s "Going To Chicago," Rodgers & Hart’s "Manhattan," and John Coltrane’s "Alabama." It is a celebration and critique of America, blending ballads, standards, romantic longing, social reflection, melodic invention, and improvisational adventure.
