Known for their unique sense of humor and ironic self-reflection, Elektryczne Gitary has been a staple in the Polish music scene since their formation in 1990. The band was founded by guitarist Rafał Kwaśniewski and bassist-keyboardist Piotr Łojek, with Kuba Sienkiewicz taking on the role of lead vocalist and guitarist.

The band's repertoire includes a wide array of original songs, many of which have become iconic hits such as "Włosy," "Jestem z Miasta," "Dzieci," "To już jest koniec," "Nie pij Piotrek," "Spokój grabarza," "Marymoncki Dżon," "Co ty tutaj robisz," and "Kiler."
