More details
With grateful hearts, we will bid farewell to our beloved John Varineau the only way we know how—with music! The program opens with the intoxicating drive of Gershwin’s An American in Paris. Also enjoy Bolcom’s Concerto for Clarinet, performed by Anthony McGill, principal clarinet of the New York Philharmonic. Your Grand Rapids Symphony, Chorus and Soloists will close the evening with Poulenc’s radiant Gloria.
