Music Director Jaap van Zweden and the NY Phil return to the Music in the Summer Air festival in Shanghai, China. They perform moving songs by the maestro’s great predecessor, with noted Mahlerian Thomas Hampson as soloist, along with a glistening work by Nina Shekhar and Brahms’s powerful and virtuosic Fourth Symphony.
