Igor Levit (“like no other pianist,” exclaimed The New Yorker) and NY Phil Principal Trumpet Christopher Martin share the spotlight in Shostakovich’s concerto for piano and trumpet. Jaap van Zweden conducts the program, which is bookended by symphonies by Prokofiev and Felix Mendelssohn.
