The Solano Symphony Orchestra invites audiences to an enchanting 2025 season filled with festive joy, youthful brilliance, and timeless classics. Kicking off with a holiday celebration featuring Tchaikovsky and holiday classics, followed by an inspiring showcase of young talent in the Salute to Youth concert, and culminating with a spirited Pops concert, this season promises to be memorable. Each event is a testament to the orchestra's commitment to tradition, innovation, and the nurturing of the next generation of musicians.

Part of our holiday tradition is enjoying some excerpts from Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker, Op 71.  We hope it will become one of your family traditions to join us for a little Nutcracker as well!

Vacaville Performing Arts Theatre

Each year, with the generous support of the Margaret Beelard Community Foundation, Maestro Semyon Lohss and the Solano Symphony Orchestra host young orchestral players and instrumental and vocal soloists to perform with the orchestra, including winners of the annual Young Artists Competition.  It's an opportunity to be inspired and impressed by the amazing talent of these dedicated young musicians.  Because of the nature of this portion of the program, the pieces will be selected based on the outcome of this competition - so stay tuned!

Salute to Youth

Our final concert of the season is always a great celebration of popular music, and the finale of our 39th season is, once again, sure to delight and entertain!  In honor of our country's 250th birthday, we'll be featuring Richard Rogers' Victory at Sea, along with a program packed with our own American Composers!

Annual Pops Concert

The final concert of the season, the annual Pops Concert on May 12, 2024, is a delightful assortment of popular pieces including Massenet’s Le Cid Ballet Suite and a medley of tunes from “The Wizard of Oz” by Harold Arlen.
