Sara Davis Buechner returns to the stage to perform the Liszt Piano Concerto No. 1, which Liszt composed over the course of 26 years. The season concludes with Mahler’s Symphony No. 1, often referred to as “The Titan.” Mahler’s first symphony was often thought to be his favorite, as he conducted it more than any other of his symphonies.
