August 29 1966 – Candlestick Park, San Francisco: the last live concert The Beatles performed to a large and frenzied crowd. From that day on, The Beatles focused on studio albums. Abbey Road Studio 2 would subsequently see an explosion of creativity and innovation in song writing and recording techniques, the likes of which had never been seen.
