Isabelle Faust returns to Berwaldhallen with Alban Berg's violin concerto – written in memory of a young girl. Principal conductor Daniel Harding also leads the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra in the overture to Richard Wagner's Tannhäuser , an opera about the struggle between virtuous and sensual love. In addition, the German Romantic composer Emilie Mayer's Seventh Symphony.
