Tchaikovsky's First Piano Concert With Anna Vinnitskaya

The German conductor Joana Mallwitz leads the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra and the Russian pianist Anna Vinnitskaya in Pyotr Tchaikovsky's first piano concerto, one of the most famous for the instrument. Here it is combined with Maurice Ravel's impressionistic Viennese waltz La Valse , Paul Hindemith's symphony Mathis der Male r and the overture to Sergei Prokofiev's opera War and Peace .
